The music venue itself is excellent, with comfortable plush seats. Add to that the slow-moving, zombie-like patrons of the casino and the weird noises and bells emanating from the slot machines and we were in.The Twilight Zone! We should have gone outside and walked around the building. We then asked for directions to the music theater. We enjoyed a leisurely meal and the food was very tasty. When we left at 7, the line was indeed an hour long.
We parked in back and headed into the non-smoking section, got on the line for membership (to get free buffet tickets), walked over to the buffet line, and were seated within about ten minutes at 6 pm. But not before reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, which gave us the information we needed to deal with the smoke, the buffet, and the music venue.
We had never been to a California tribal casino but we bought tickets to the Turtles & Grassroots concert, so off we went.
